Let’s call it the year of being offensive and easily offended. Let’s call it the year of pulling the curtain back on rapists and pedophiles. Let’s call this the year of maniacs and machine guns. Let’s call it the year of JUST HOW IN THE FUCK DID WE GET TO THIS PLACE?!?

America elected a narcissistic toddler who is quite possibly mentally unstable. His followers refuse to believe it (all FAKE news and liberal media bullshit, you know.) Our fearless leader has thumbed his nose at, well, pretty much the world and anyone who even remotely disagrees with him. His delusional devotees lap it up as if it were a reality television show.

Politicians and celebrities are dropping left and right over harassment and rape allegations. Some going quietly whilst others are denying and fighting tooth-and-nail. And one supposed pedophile will quite possibly get a senate seat in Alabama - with FULL endorsement of the President and GOP.

People have been massacred in churches and at concerts. Massacred. Woman. Children. Fathers. Sons. Daughters. Oh, but that’s a price we have to pay for… what was it again? Oh yeah: freedom. Whose freedom? Do you think any of those folks killed would have agreed to being shot, because, well, that’s just the price you have to pay for the rest of us to remain free?

And this pales in comparison to the massacres and atrocities in Syria. Slaves on parade in Libya and the usual bullshit in Afghanistan and Iraq. The North Koreans probably have a nuclear weapon - they have some pretty functional missiles, that’s for certain. 

 We can fly spaceships to Pluto but sons-of-bitches still kill people because “hey, your magic zombie dude in the sky is totally bullshit and if you don’t believe in mine you’re a blasphemous heretic and I’m gonna fucking kill you!!” 

Let’s not even get into the environment… The West Coast is a raging inferno. The Gulf Coast and Caribbean battered and underwater...

And  then there’s all the people that I personally liked that died. I guess maybe they said “fuck-it-all” considering the state of the world. Tom Petty? Seriously? Malcolm Young? Gregg Allman… Batman…  and James-Fucking Bond (the James Bond I grew up on)… dammit. 

And the Dodgers lost the World Series.
